Step Up And Groove with Always Forever Dance
Hello! I just wanted to say Good luck to everyone who is competing on Sunday 3rd February 2013 at the debut Step Up And Groove competition event and to voice my support of the organisers, Always Forever Dance. I know this event is going to be a massive success and I think what you guys are doing is great 🙂
TO ALL OF TH E YOUNGER DANCERS COMING THROUGH; you are the future of UK dance! Don’t be afraid to ‘Step Up & Groove’ 😉 Although the older dancers may seem intimidating they want to see you grow and will support your progression. Enjoy the experience – this is a unique opportunity for all levels and ages to share with each other (the first of its kind in the UK).
TO ALL OF THE OLDER DANCERS; on the day, PLEASE be accessible to the younger dancers – you are inspirations to the younger ones and they look up to you! Remember that! Help them without them having to approach you and ask you. Hold their hand and take them in to the circle if they look like that want an ‘in’. I know, my world would have been a different place if someone had done that for me 😉 ‘Each One Teach One’ Knowledge is Power and Sharing is Caring.
I will be there all day on Sunday and if ANYONE WANTS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WAACKIN’ (SHWAY-STYLE) please don’t be shy, come and meet me. PLUS, I am sponsoring a bonus prize in conjunction with Husky Studios …
** ATTENTION U18 and U14 Solo Competitiors ** THERE IS A BONUS PRIZE for all advanced solo competitors reaching final 8 and all beginner/intermediate solo competitors reaching final 6 in under 18’s and under 14’s categories. You are invited to attend a FREE 2 hour workshop where I will introduce you to a range of concepts to help you progress towards reaching your full potential as a dancer. The session, based on Shabba-Doo’s teaching principals (Shway Theory), will focus on three key elements – you, your body and the music. It will benefit you whatever dance style you do.
This is stuff that I WISH was available when I first started dancing because I would have progressed a whole lot quicker!
You may be wondering who I am … No, I am not a famous dancer 😉 I have been hidden away for a while, being trained and mentored by Shabba-Doo. Yes I do have A LOT of knowledge to share with you. And I want you all to FLY.

This workshop is sponsored by corinabest.com and Husky Dance Studios in conjunction with Always Forever Dance and will take place on a Saturday afternoon in March.
Much Love, Corina <3
